Veo Technologies has designed a video camera and cloud-based subscription service to record and then automatically pick out highlights of games, which it then hosts on a platform for its customers to access and share that video content. A similar product was proposed by Pixellot - their Air is a new automated recording and video analysis camera which was specifically designed to serve the needs and financial capabilities of the grassroots and academies' market. Both products can record the majority of a soccer (or other sport’s) field using wide-angles and then zoom and automatically create edits and highlights based on that. They provide professional live-streaming options for non-professional games. The generated clips, as well as the matches themselves are also provided on the platforms for later analysis. Both products are tested by major sports clubs and are gaining popularity in the industry. They are a new, interesting category of internet video.
